The Challenge & Context
The client faced slow manual deployments taking hours or days with frequent configuration mistakes. Furthermore, standard video hosting was vulnerable to unauthorized downloads, and students in low-bandwidth regions suffered severe buffering issues.
Engineering Approach & Architecture
Instituted a decoupled architecture with Laravel 12 providing robust Service-Repository patterns, policy-based authorization, and RESTful API Resources. On the client, built an ultra-fast Nuxt.js 4 application with server-side rendering (SSR), full bidirectional i18n (Arabic RTL / English LTR), and integrated HLS adaptive-bitrate video streaming.
Decoupled API-first architecture running automated Docker containers with orchestrated CI/CD workflows and Redis caching.
